Mrs. Annie Martin Buried Saturday January 22
Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Martin were held on Saturday, January 22, 1955 at two o'clock p.m. from the Hanson Funeral Chapel. Reverend Walter L. Serdahl, pastor of the Assembly of God church conducted the services.
Mrs. Ruth Miller was pianist and accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fuller who sang "In Thy Garden" and "Will There Be Any Stars in My Crown."
Bearers were Henry Ysker, John Heern, William Ysker, John Taskey, Leland Stephenson and Vincent Renczykowski. Burial was in the Lakeview cemetery Windom.
Annie Belle, daughter of William and Shara Madox, was born on August 2, 1876 at Morland, Kentucky.
The Martin family had made their home in Cottonwood county for some time and for three years Mrs. Martin had lived in Bingham Lake. Recently she had made her home at Wyandotte, Michigan with her son. She passed away here on January 18, 1955 at the age of 83 years, six months and 15 days.
Mrs. Martin is preceded in death by her husband Leo Otis Martin, who died April 9, 1951, and one son, Henry B. Martin, who died in 1917.
She is survived by seven children: Elmer of New York; Martin, Squibbs, Ky.; Mrs. Pearl Berner, Norwalk, Wis.; Arthur of Trenton, Mich.; Mrs. Ethel Grunewald, Windom; Mrs. Neasha Luba, Phoenix, Ariz.; and John of Windom. also surviving are 46 grandchildren and 27 great-granchildren; one sister, Mrs. Artie Watte; two brothers, George and Bill Maddock, all of Morland, Ky.
