      — Robert Davis "Bobby" Mauck age 75 of Knox City, MO. left his earthly home on January 25, 2016 to be with his savior. Bobby was born on June 20, 1940, in Knox City MO the son of William Robert and Lelah Davis Mauck. He was united in marriage to Frances Lee Tedder in Wichita Falls, Texas on May 2, 1967. To this union were 4 children. Surviving is his wife of 48 years, two sons, Kenneth Lee Hargrave, spouse Juliet of New London, MO and Robert Lee Mauck, spouse Sherri of Knox City MO, two daughters Deborah Ann Dick, and spouse Jim of Edina MO and Angela Marie Miller, spouse Clint of Edina MO. 10 grandchildren, Jeremy and LaMayra, James and LaTrisha, Amanda, Deloris, Kenneth, Kyle, Brittney, Nathan, Savannah, Robert, and Mitchell. 8 great grandchildren Jaden, Alexus, Leila, Faelyn, Ronnie and Paul and two more additions on the way and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Bobby grew up on the family farm. Farming was his life; sports of any kind was his love. He grew up with a ball in his hand. One of his greatest achievements was his highest scoring game, where he scored 61 points. Bobby's sports passion led him to the world of fast pitch softball. Bobby played for O'Donnell's, Milts, and Ozark Nationals during his softball playing years. Bobby's weekends would be filled with traveling in the motor home to all destinations playing softball with his second family. Bobby hung up his softball glove and moved on to coaching and sometimes giving advice in his way. Bobby was a St. Louis Cardinals fan but was an even bigger Knox County Eagles fan. He relived his playing days through his children, grandchildren and all the athletes he considered his children. Bobby was a member of the Greensburg Masonic Lodge # 414 Greensburg A.F. & A.M. and was an active member of the El Kadir Shrine Club. Bobby was also a member of the Bankers Life and Casualty bowling team. Bobby graduated from Knox City High School in 1958 and attended Northeast Missouri State Teachers College from 1958-1961. Bobby sold insurance for Bankers Life and Casualty Company from 1973 to present as a semi-retired agent. Bobby always had a taste for good food and took pride in his ability to cook for others. He never met a stranger and never hesitated to tell you a good story. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents William and Lelah Mauck, one sister Sherry Gouldschaal and brother in law Glenn Goudschaal, sister in law Dodie Leftwich and brother in law Cliff Leftwich, and brother in law Frank Tedder.
      — A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 29, 2016, in the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edina, MO. Father Colin Franklin will officiate the services. Burial will be in the Knox City Cemetery.
      Music will be provided by
      — Casket bearers will be Todd Goodwin, Robert Hubble, Shane Clary, John Gilbert, Jason Barnhill and Kelly Miller. Honorary bearers will be J.V. Norton, John Dennis Mauck, Steve Hudnut, John C. Miller, Terry Max Goodwin, Rusty Leftwich, Gerry Goudschaal, Rodney Lewis and Brian Houston.
      — Visitation will be held after 3 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2016, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Funeral Home. A Prayer service will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2016, at Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home.
      — Memorials in memory of Robert D. Mauck may be made to the New Knox County High School Softball Field Athletic Department. Memorials may be left at or mailed to Hudson-Rimer Funeral Home, P.O. Box 1, Edina, MO 63537.
